Terminator Deep Strike vs. Relentless...

Hello freinds!

I'm puzzled by these two rules, so some quick clarification is needed! Can 'Tactical' Terminators fire their heavy weapons the turn they arrive via Deep Strike? I know the DS rule says they can fire rapid fire weapons or run, but does Relentless allow the heavies? What about Assaulting? Does Relentless allow the assault?

Please help a confused brother plan his list.

Thanks

They can move and fire (or deep strike and fire) any of their weapons.

They cannot assault the turn they deep strike, as the action of "Deep strike" is preventing the assault. (The fact that they count as moving isn't a problem, the deep strike rules are what prevents them from assaulting as they arrive)

Otherwise, they can move, fire and assault. (and still must assault what they shot at)

Kephri is correct, relentless removes the movement and assault restrictions from heavy and rapid fire weapons, however it does not remove the assault restriction from deepstriking (or from exiting a transport, though this will only come up for termies with grey knight terminators in chimeras, unless the new blood angels book has something new)

Correct GC. We may not have been as clear as possible.

Terminators/Relentless normally can move, shoot (including heavy) and assault (what they shot at)

Terminators/Relentless deep striking can shoot (including heavy) or run. (no assault)
