Daemonifuge petition?

Recommended Posts

That's the idea:

I believe everybody is aware of the new Print on Demand service available at Black Library, were you can order some selected, old OOP works again.

So, how about we Inquisitors join forces to make some =I= stuff available once again? :P

I always wanted to get a copy of that comic book Daemonifuge, about the SoBs, but it's out of print since a long time ago, and it reached collector's price tag.

By looking the Print on Demand page, we can see that books that cost an arm in a leg used, can be ordered, NEW, for basically the cover price again.

So let's contact them and make them know what we want! Access their contact page and write away:

I already asked for Daemonifuge to be added to the service. If several people ask it, it can easily happen, I think.

Having had most of the warhammer monthly's that ran the story, the graphic novels that combined the collected segments into 3 volumes... and the novel that was mis-marketed as being a brand new adventure for Stern (but was in fact only a reprinting of all of the warhammer monthly strips into a single volume)... I can't say I am really up for another reprint.

I am not saying it isn't a great story... but if they are going to put energies into sister of battle projects, let us not waste them on reprinting an old story.

How about a new adventure with the sisters.

You know something small... like the rise and fall of Goge Vandire...

I am sure that with as well as they have done with the Horus Heresy that a short little 3 to 4 book run on the Age of Apostasy should be a snap.

The whole point of Print on Demand is old material, not new material.

Well i already have the book in my collection and i have to say i love it, i think ive read it nearly dozen times, and refer to it for saying in my Dark Heresy game i play in.

Also im the proud owner of a unpainted (as yet) Ephrael Stern limited edition miniature.

I love anything to do with Ephrael Stern.

Im in :)

please post pics of the mini!

I didn't even know that such a thing existed...

EDIT: is that the one you are using as avatar?

Ephrael Stern miniature:

Nice, but nothing special :D

I might be missing something but it just looks like a regular seraphim with a cool sword. Any other differances?

I guess judging by the fact you said limited edition they are not for sale anywhere but ebay?

There are a few differences compared to a Seraphin Supior.

Firstly you will notice the sword, bolt pistil is standard, shoulder pads are different shape, different knee pads, skulls on her armoured breasts, and i find that the face is different than any other SoB so far, and slight differneces in the armoured legs.

Thats about it comparing the two.

But i picked her up for the pure Fluff in the SoB i think she is a cool miniature, and plan to paint her in the colours of the Martyrd Lady.

I do hope with the next codex for SoB they release her as a new character and new miniature too.
