They just don't look like Imperial technology in their current configuration. I'm not sure how to do this... maybe make the top of each vent match the line of the armor plate above? Or go with round/rounded vents? Maybe arched or vaulted, like cathedral windows? I realize this would all require some GS sorcery, but you do not seem to lack those skills. Looks awesome so far!
