winterdyne
Finished this off today, can't seem to get the net to stay down, maybe it'll settle with a blast of hairspray and a roll of blu-tack to weight it down a bit... http://www.winterdyne.co.uk/maz/images/commissions/ultramarines1/rhino/rhino_done1000.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195843-commission-ultramarines-rhino/ Share on other sites

Baal Dropout
Agreed: the 'net' behaves more like a roll of wire fence than a net... how about using CA and covering any solid glue spots with some more foliage? Nonetheless, I really like how the Rhino turned out  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195843-commission-ultramarines-rhino/#findComment-2332533 Share on other sites
Chaptermaster Graymantle
I like it! The net looks good to me. I've handled the real deal many times and they are a mess to handle. Quite often they get backed pretty big when your in a hurry. Keep it up! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195843-commission-ultramarines-rhino/#findComment-2332547 Share on other sites

Like christmas lights if you aren't carefull. I love the Rhino, btw. Looks really cool and tactical, not easy to do with a blue tank. Super well painted, too. Where did you get the camo netting? winterdyne
The camo netting is made of fabric mesh (nabbed from a mate who had some lying around) sprayed with hairspray and sprinkled with leaf scatter. Then sprayed with hairspray again. Then rolled up and strapped up with paper straps. I've since coaxed it into sagging better with generous amounts of CA and patience. :-) Looks neater.
