Vel'Cona
It is a pretty nice paintjob, and probably one of the nicer SRs I've seen. Though I'm still not a fan of the "obvious LR front" design. I prefer the conversions that avoid making the SR look like a flying LR, unless they're funny like the one in this thread. That said, I'm waiting for the real model before I use an SR. :)
Corby
Dante on a flying Land raider  Suddenly the Blood Angels are so much cooler.
MasterDarksol
Bob, I never imagined someone would actually bring my drawing to life like that. I think you improved upon the original design, too. :D You're my personal hero, dude. Way awesome.
Slim Pickens
Bob, I never imagined someone would actually bring my drawing to life like that. I think you improved upon the original design, too. :) You're my personal hero, dude. Way awesome. Who's awesome? YOU are awesome. Both of you. :) That picture nearly caused me to piss myself the first time I saw it. And the true to life version is a great homage. Kudos to you both. BOBMAKENZIE
I think you improved upon the original design, too. ;) You're my personal hero, dude. Way awesome. Just stylistic differences I think. Though I was also working with full knowledge of the rules. Way cool. Glad you saw it. B)
Emperors Immortals
Bob, I never imagined someone would actually bring my drawing to life like that. I think you improved upon the original design, too. ;) You're my personal hero, dude. Way awesome. I have that pic on a tshirt i wear when i ride my triumph to games/rallies - needless to say i get a lot of comments from bikers at the rallies, and just strangly misty eyed crying at 40k tournies.... Sanguinus Principus
Check this kitbash out, tutorial included. It's my personal fave so far, and it feels more like the Raven because in all honesty, it feels pretty flimsy against most armors... one of those TRUE gambles when you're playing other marines. This model has a really adept and genius Dreadnought carry-point and it's actually quite visibly pleasing. http://www.mywargame.com/2010/04/29/crux-p...raven-tutorial/
Dingareth
So.... You posted a 6 month old tutorial in a 4 month old thread? You really do like that one don't you. Since it's your first post, may I direct you: Here It's full of way to avoid these awkward moments we find ourselves in, especially because there were 2 threads on Storm Ravens on the front page anyways! Sanguinus Principus
I figured as much. I'm new to Warhammer period, plan on fielding Blood Angels. Also, nowhere in the rules was I in error (If I was, direct me to it.) I understand the thread is old, I honestly found it through google as I was fishing for Storm Raven kitbashes after glancing through the 5E Codex
