WG PA configurations

hi i just wandering, i often to see

 

WG PA with Thunder Hammer + Storm Shield

= 68 point

 

WG PA with double Wolf Claw

= 48 point

 

WG PA with Power Fist + Combi

= 43 point

 

are there any other good configuration ???

 

AND

 

i would like to ask, in SW pack box,

Frost Axe made to be wielded 2handed,

but the codex allowed it to wield it in one hand and then the other hand wield another weapon / shield ???

 

what is your guys common configuration for the frost axe ???

 

AND lastly

 

we can make WG PA + dual wolf claw + storm bolter for 51 point, right ???

why you guys never +storm bolter for WG ???

3points is not that expensive for 24" assault2, right ???

 

and sorry if i ask too much, since i am a newbie with just 2x mini wargaming experience ^^

You can't have 2 x wolf claws and storm bolter. You start with the basic PA kit and then just change the upgrades for each hand, switching bolt pistol and CCW for WC, there is no option available for switching, say bolt pistol for Wolf Claw AND storm bolter.

As for me, I've modelled one WG with Thunder Hammer and Storm bolter - he is the one leading my scouts. I kinda like him, although I sometimes wish he had a combi-melta instead ;).

And yes, You can have frostaxe and bolt pistol or storm shield, You just have to slap a pistol holster or strap the shield over his back.

i know its cheap but i like bp ,pwr wpn then when they do go down i donnt feel the loss

I use storm bolters on PF WG if i have the 3 points laying about, but i prefer a Comby melta for that insta kill or tank killing extra's
