Brother Gaias
I started painting a few white panther marines a while a number of years ago, well what with uni being in the middle of nowhere the hobby was put to one side. Now its coming back with a vengeance and so I am going to start painting them again. these are the few models that i painted and I shall try and keep a regular posting going with them as a form of encouragement and drive. also note that these are very early in the painting process and a lot still needs to be done. please excuse the quality of the photos, they are taken with my laptop camera. I also remember someone stating that a white panthers IA was written at one point. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Brother Gaias
I have been wanting to do a White Panthers list since the 3rd edition codex. just fell in love with the colour scheme but was always weary of actually having to paint the black and white. The power sword is actually a relic blade, nice stand in between the power fist and the power sword. made from a thunder hammer haft and tomb kings chariot spike. The white is a pain but i do like how it came out. astronomicon grey followed by lots of thin coats of white, Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195996-white-panthers-revival/#findComment-2334901 Share on other sites
Dosjetka
These look very nice! :) White is a real pain but it seems to have gone very well for you. I have never seen a White Panther, so I can't wait to see my first one! :D I'll be keeping an eye out for this thread! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195996-white-panthers-revival/#findComment-2334910 Share on other sites
Brother Gaias
the terminator is actually practically done in terms of colour scheme. so you have seen half as it were. it seems i have two weeks of nothing but assignments so that gives me pleanty of time to paint. this is how they should look when done. I know the robes were not on the original models but i just love sergeants and commanders in robes. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/Tulcaondo/White%20Panthers/WhitePanthersSpacemarine.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/Tulcaondo/White%20Panthers/WhitePanthersCommander.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195996-white-panthers-revival/#findComment-2334935 Share on other sites
