Brother Marcus Gratius served as an assault marine of the 2nd Company at the Siege of the Emperor's Palace and he lost his right eye defending the Ultimate Gate against the World Eaters.His eye was replaced by a bionic but that pain was nothing compared to the soul rending experience of his Primarch's passing.That was a wound that would never fully heal.It left a dark shadow in Marcus's heart,a burning rage and the overwhelming desire to spill the blood of his enemies.Thanks to his mental conditioning as a Librarian,Gratius has managed to keep his rage under control so far and he still serves with the 2nd Company,claiming the life of any traitor unlucky enough to cross his path. .........+++......... This phrase couldn't be more true for Brother Librarian Ixius.A veteran of the Unification Wars,he fought and bled for the emerging Imperium since the beginning.He served with honour and much distinction for the entirety of the Great Crusade ,bringing the light of the Imperial Truth to hundreds of human worlds.After the Edict of Nikea,he was transfered from the Librarius department of the Blood Angels Legion to the command squad of Captain Sebastian Drecio of the 2nd Company.Such a lauded hero could hold no other position than Company Champion.It was under that rank and title that he was mortally wounded,maimed and crippled beyond recovery,by a champion of the traitor World Eaters legion in defence of the Ultimate Gate. The casualties suffered by the Legions that defended the Emperor's Palace were horrendous,and that was especially true for the Blood Angels.The sons of Sanguinius lost not only hundreds of battle brothers,tanks and material,but their Angelic Primarch as well.With such losses they could ill afford to loose any of their leader figures.So it came to pass then,that Brother Ixius was interred within one of the Legion's mighty Dreadnoughts. As stated before,in the wake of the Siege of Terra the Librarius departments were reinstated.Brother Ixius's Dreadnought was fitted with all the gear a Librarian might need to perform his duties.A special issue Psychic hood was fixed around his sarcofagus,thus enabling him to use his Psychic powers once again.A mighty Force weapon replaced his left power claw and along with his iron will and psychic might,Ixius had all that he needed to vanquish the foes of the Imperium. .........+++......... Not meaning to be picky....but don't Assault Marines have to have jump packs, or can you have them with normal backpacks as well?
