After the Quad count as TWC and other trials I did...

Here's what I can finally describe as TWC for my Wolves.

I took a High elf Lion of Chrace from a chariot ( still have a 2nd one to do ) and greenstuffed it today. Its 1h30 work at this point. still need to finish the tail.

tell me what you think about it.

I made is nose a lil longer so as not to keep the feline look.

A solid and impressive GS job! I especially like the snout. But the highelf glyphs has to go :)

thanks! yeah I do think that the snout is better that way!!

Dont you worry about the HElf glyphs they will go! just waiting for the GS to dry a lil before touching it again!

I've tried that already - it works ok

Aye but I think his green-fu belt looks a bit stronger then your listed example...

Wow!!! thanks Tybrus!!!! I like that: Green-fu belt! ;-)

here's the finished product! in all its 4hours work! ( btw...this is not the final base! had no more 60mm left so for now thats it! )

Excellent work. A great investment for four hours of modelling time. The snout was a good idea as well. I did the same thing with the plastic Wolf Helmet and it looks much better.

Question: from where does the shield come from?

The lil shield you wont be able to find... It was from a squad of white scars biker set ( set of 3 sold as a boxed set ) that I bought a couple of years back to make a big squad of bloodclaw bikers.

Actually GW has it in the White Scar conversion bitz pack on their site.

Thats nice!

but you see I had the shields for 6 years before finding a way to include them in my SW army...they're not very wolfish and they're so small they dont really afford any coverage( I wouldnt go at war with that! )

I have old plastic skaven and dwarven shields that I kept ( you know the wooden ones!! thats right! ) and They are going to find a place on the next few models!

Here's the complete product once ready to prime! think I nailed the tail better on that one!

You stole my idea! (waves accusing finger across the feasting hall).

But it's a great job so far - I would have made the snouts a bit longer, to emphasize the "canine feeling" and compensate for the lion's lantern jaw and maybe GS'ed a bit of fur on the "face".

I don't really like the tails, though. You've put sso much effort into the body fur, the tails look a bit "rushed".

thanks a lot mate! I looked at page 31 of our beloved codex to see how long the snout needed to be and where the fur should go in the face! Still the next two will be a lot better!!!

the first tail was lousy I admit, the second is a lot better! Hey, first try at tails!
