Imperial Fist Strike Force

This is the Lead Vehicle for my first company.

Complete with a Prayer to Rogal Dorn on top that I made with and online English to Latin translator.

So it is a Psuedo-Latin if you will , it should read

It should read

We are the Hammer

We are the Fist of Dorn

We suffer not the xenos to live

We do this in the name of Dorn

We burn the Heretic

We do this in the name of Dorn

We cleanse the taint of the Mutant

We do this in the name of Dorn

To Slay is to Pray.

The yellow is very nice, as are the weathering and chipping.

The only detractor from the model is the freehand litanies. They just don't look neat enough to have been painted by a Techmarine.

What a great yellow. I love your termies the sergeant especially. Great freehand on Lysander's shoulder as well. It strikes me as a Battletech thing for some reason. (Lyrans) The LR's door image really gives the tank some character.

Man, i must say I've watched your threads through your Pre-Heresy stuff and I must say, your painting is coming on in leaps and bounds! You've achieved a great yellow with just enough weathering to make them really stand out. The freehand is looking great as well. When finished this will truly be a force you can be proud of!

The yellow is Vomit Brown basecoat

Once dry it is tinted with matte medium and old gw yellow ink.

Marvelous models there! The weathering on the tanks is top notch! They really look like they're battle hardened.

 

You can get transfer paper that you can print onto. So you select a suitably ornate font, set up the layout and off you go. I've seen the paper in most online hobby and craft stores. Its fairly cheap too as i recall.

Problem is my printer stinks,I've tried to make them before coated the finished decal in gloss spray and everything and they still bleed.

I need advice on the best printer to use for waterslides any Decal gurus out there?
