ok had this mad thought

iv been reading a thousand sons of late ,yes i know the bit about there being no wolves on fenris yadda yadda.now working from that premise the bit that intriuged me was the coment about there being another race no fenris before the coming of man.

this lead me to two thoughts (thats rare) ,

 

1. what if fenris was one of them death worlds with its own self concosness similar to a gaia theory which would indicate that the wolves are a manifestation of the will of fenris ,think about all the storys of the spirit wolves russ played with that kinda fits .

 

2. also and this is a bit odd the cult of iron existed before the russ came is the iron wolf a conection to the ctan/necrons(read the iron priest section again with that in mind)

 

i find both thease ideas much more intrigueing than the demons of fenris camp of thought sp what do you guys think ?

*blinks* The Cult of Iron was simply the last bastion of technology... much like elsewhere in the galaxy some people prized their tech highly enough to go to great lengths to maintain and protect it. The Iron Isles are one such area.

 

When the fall of Fenris occurred, long long before russ ever came by, they stayed as a bastion of knowledge. Much like in many other places they kept it secret, and thus safe. Their techonological advantage allowing them to keep the more savage tribes from overrunning them.

 

Who on earth ever told you there were Demons on fenris?

 

Theyre just an alien race with a body thats evovled along similar lines to terran canids.
