I do NOT plan on using this unit, but it is available as an ally: Inquisitor Lord (Ld 10) - 45 pts Emperor's Tarot (+1 to see who goes first) - 15 pts Psychic Hood (D6 + Ld vs enemy's to nullify power) - 20 pts Mystic x 2 (2 mystics allow a unit w/in 12" of Inquisitor a "free shot" at a summoning deamon or Deep Striking unit) - 12 pts 96 pts for a Ld 10 psychic hood and a free shot at ALL units entering from Deep Strike (see GW FAQ). Imagine nuking a Drop Pod as it lands, causing a S 3 hit on the occupants...or better yet nuking that Deep Strike LAND RAIDER from the BA army... Because I'm nice. ;) That's been a popular combo for a while but works especially well for Bjorn Alpha strike lists i.e. when a player tries to get the first turn and simply blow his opponent away with firepower in the first turn. Add Njal to the mix and you have an 83% chance of getting first turn and using all of Njal's silly powers. :lol: BTW no one is deep striking Land Raiders. They're simply too big to drop down and hope that you avoid something unless your opponent has Locator beacons. And we all know what happens to them when you find out something has one... I'm sure you could designate a Rune Priest to take a psychic shooting attack, but designating a Long Fang pack, especially with 1 or 2 plasma cannon for those tightly packed models would be so much better. So each one has an attempt to block a psychic power from working. A LD10 inquisitor and Njal on the board shuts down enemy psykers. Otherwise, if you just have one Mystic, only the Inq retinue may shoot.
