JetfireUK Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 Hi Folks, Update! My Command Squad are finished!! Overall I'm pretty happy with these five. The banner was my attempt to get away from the standard GW approach whilst still keeping with the 3rd company ideal of killing Tyranids. :unsure: The powerswords were tricky. I used the techniques from the Space Hulk issue of White Dwarf and I think I did alright. More practice will help. Contrast is something that other have mentioned so I think that for my future projects I'll push at the edge highlighting a little more to help areas like the feet pop more. They've been highlighted but either the 50w lamp or the colour mix I've used doesn't stand out enough. I'll see what I can pull out of the bag for my next figures.
