Ferrus Manus
I'm looking at building up a SM Fleet for Gothic, but my question are they metal or plastic models; it doesn't tell you on the GW site. So can anyone help? The models I'm interested in are: - Battlebarge - Strike Cruiser - Nova, Gladius and Hunter class Thanks, in advance. RADU LYKAN
grand cruisers are metal not plastic? some people convert grand cruisers using plastics but unless you happen to have a left over imperial and plastic cruiser its generally imo a better option to get the metal model, it looks better and presents no confusion for opponents. plastic cruisers are still available on the gw site under specialist games Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/196601-are-bfg-models-plastic-or-metal/#findComment-2365072 Share on other sites

LoneSniperSG
Metal Grand cruisers are not too difficult. I had to build one without and instructions and I pulled it off. Pretty much every BFG ship is metal. The only ones that are plastic are Chaos Cruisers and Imperial Cruisers. .. That's it. Forge World makes a few resin ones, such as the Grey Knights Strike Cruiser..
