i think i need a bit more highlighting on the black, especially the top edges. the helmet isn't started on the DC guy by the way.

From what I can see, the marines look very sharp and well painted. Also, the application of paint is very good as it has been applied neatly and in the right places. The only thing I would say is use thinner paints, as the highlights look a little bit "bold" and perhaps take some pictures of the tester much like your 6th picture where it is unaffected by the light sourcing.

Well done mate, it looks very professional and I'd be proud to have painted something that well. Also, before I forget - well done for getting the transfers right, they are an absolute pain in the proverbial backside!

thanks for the comments.

@ terminatorinhell: my normal marines (which will be my RAS) are being done with a mix of DC and RAS parts.

@deffwolf: cheers for the tips.i try and thin down my paints but guess i need to do it a bit more  .yea i will try and take some better pics when i update.and if your talking about the flesh tearers logo i painted that...it is a bit wonky though :)

@bigmackey: yup termies with lightning claws are sweet.i will see how they fair against the wolves this wednesday.the stealth effect was done using the new eavy metal spray gun,its awesome ;)

Very nice, love the Flesh Tearers' colour scheme.

Your painting is crisp and clean, though (just my opinion) the red is still a little too bright for Flesh Tearers.

I imagine them as a very dark and scary chapter, so, after highlighting and everything is done, maybe you want to give the red a final wash of thinned down Badab Black?

Anyway, love those models, keep up the good work!

Your freehand is much better than mine.

The chapter icon on the terminator looks a hair small, though. You might want to scale it up so it fills more of the shoulder pad. Other than that it looks great.
