clanfield Posted April 3, 2010 Share Posted April 3, 2010 i paint the whole pelt komando kharki then a grip sepia wash then about 1 cm in from edges i paint bestial brown ,then 1/2 cm from that line scorch brown i use bleach bone and white for the claws and once thats all dry i drybrush bubonic brown over the fur and paint the nose black if its got one when thats dry i use babad black wash over the figure which blends the colors well hope that helps Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/196735-painting-pelt/#findComment-2345102 Share on other sites More sharing options...

VonDrakenstorm Posted April 3, 2010 Share Posted April 3, 2010 For a white fur, I start on a Adeptus Battlegrey, then I brush Codex, Fortress and finish on Skull White. Make the brush lighter as you get to the bottom of the pelt. Using Codex with a Badab wash instead of Battlegrey works well.
