Warhorse47
As Bjeorn prepared to resume his tale, there was a resounding crash in the bay. "Jonas, he's mine!" was the enraged roar from Schertenlieb. Closing his eyes and shaking his head, Jonas just leaned back as Ragnarok climbed atop the Land Raider and observed "That's gonna take a while...". Chuckling, Bjeorn continued..... "Well the greenies did manage to swing wide and when they came charging in off our flank, they had the terrible misfortune to run straight into our Gray Hunters. Well, the youngsters still had their junp packs and went bounding in to the aid of their brothers. After bouncing through the IG troops and causing that Commissar to wish he was wearing brown pants, they went crashing into the ork battlewagon. Well, maybe into is too strong a word. Onto, behind, around and even under in at least one case. By the way Jonas, which one was it that crashed into you and knocked you through that hatch?" "Ulir, he flies about as well as Jester in a speeder." "I thought so, anyway, they are trying to set off grenades with Jonas inside with a boatload of orcs. For some reason, this annoyed Jonas. Mikal managed to get inside to give him some real help and that's when the grenades started going off. Seems everyone, Mikal, Jonas and the rest of the orks and grots all wanted out at that point! By the time it was all sorted out, the Gray Hunters had taken out the rest of the orks, the Claws had finished off the ones left from the battlewagon and Mikal was deciding on what he was going to do with young Hendrick, who had found the remains of a grot launcher and had shot Beef with it!" Pausing to take a deep drag on the cigar, he then said "Well at least the funeral for that Commissar went off alright...." Nah, I just wanted to go beat up on the orks. And Warhorse, let Vortek blow something up already, poor lad has been asking for ages... Requiem of the Wolf
Wreck giggles quietly while polishing the teeth of his Chain Knives as he walks up. "Looks like I am reassigned to this squad again. Apparently trying to park a bike upside down on the Iron Priest's table at feast was a lot less amusing then it could have been" This was now the third time that Wreck had been booted from the Bike squadrons. While he was as eager as any Bloodclaw out there, his ability to pilot a vehicle was haphazard even by the loose standards applied to the young wolves. He still remained the only Bloodclaw in the history of the Fang to have ever crashed two vehicles while still within the vehicle bay. He looks up and stammers at the sight of the Great Wolf and a Rune priest both standing before the pack before snapping to attention. Warhorse47
Ragnarok's slight shake of his head sent the message to Jonas' Pack to keep quiet. Only Jonas had known him long enough to realize that his Battle Leader was keeping a stright face only by the force of his own iron will. The Ecclesiarchy Zealot was still berating the towering Wolf as Ragnarok calmly lit a cigar and blew a smoke ring over the shorter man's head, making him look for a moment like a scrawny angel with a gray halo. Finally running out of patience, the towering Wolf interrupted, "Crier Makalottanoyz, I understand you are upset over the perceived slight on the honor of the Sisters of Battle. However, I doubt that one of my Bloodclaws taking a couple of them for joyrides on an attack bike will cause any real disruption in the reloading of all these transports." Turning, he looked over and told Jonas, "Make sure those bikes are strapped down properly this time. And don't let Wreck near anything expensive. Tell Nello to quit writing and singing his tales, ballads, sonnets and requiems and get to work." Grinning Jonas turned and said over his shoulder, "Yessir, I'll make sure Vortek is careful with the grenades, too." Quickly dodging the good natured kick from his leader Jonas headed over to get his pups busy. Dodging a Leman Russ that bore the markings of the Tallarn desrt fighters, he rounded up his pack and issued quick instructions. Looking over, he saw Vassakov grinning at him. As his pack headed off, he looked at his mentor and said "What did I forget?" "Nothing, sounds good, oh you did forget one thing..where's an ale for your old brother?" Grinning, Jonas looked around and said, "Looks like it's all packed up already. So where are we all going? It looks like we have room for our entire Company. Feeling the ground tremble behind him, he looked back and saw Old Garm, coming their way, even the IG tanks making room for the ancient dreadnought.
