mega_marines Posted April 3, 2010 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Wow! This model is great! Very nice subtleties are found all over this little piece, but there is one thing I'm not a fan of. The paint on the tabard just looks a bit "off" and clumpy. Not dirty, but just not right. If you fixed the tabard, and added a backpack he'd be epic! Wicksy Posted April 24, 2010 Share Posted April 24, 2010 Some nice models there! I'd suggest that you thin your paints down as it is leaving texturing over the surface of the mini. Also, is that a wash over the armour? One thing i've seen when i try this is that you need to then go and re-apply the base colour as it tends to interfere with the base coat's look. Thats why i've switched mainly to line shading with a fine brush. Other than that, maybe add some highlights. Just along the edges of the armour where the light would catch.
