Rabidus Posted April 3, 2010 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Excellent work on the Custodian model - the sculpt on the legs and robes are very convincing. Also like the alternative colour scheme for the beserkers, though a close up would be nice, to get some better ideas. Not sure if you have over done it with the puss/mould on the nurgle marine (though I;m sure most Nurglish players would disagree!) All in all, very neat work and think its going to look fantastic on the tabletop. Oh...by the way. Why not repaint the Emperor model? Just strip it down? Which leads me to another question. Are you playing these as Chaos Marines, so he can be a count as greater demon? Turns out he's just shooting someone, which is a pity. Either way, these models are excellent, especially the converted Custodians. I really like them. Lord Lucius Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 I know when i do my golds to get them really bright my last two layers are a 1:1 mix of shining gold and mithrall silver with the final layer being a pure mithrall silver on only the most highest points of the armour. I do quite a few layers to really build it up, in total i do about 6 different colour layers with my gold. The models look good! I do like the way you did your custodian very nice!
