Ashe Darke
What value do you use for characteristic tests, more specifically in the case of Hit and Run. I would say majority but the rules don't say anything. This is to do with Dante attached to Sanguinary Guard and them using the ability. He is I6 and they are I4 so what value do they use. Plus if they have +1I from having a Sanguinary Priest in the unit is it taken using I4 of I5? It says it has no effect for Sweeping Advances but doesn't mention Hit and Run. Again I'd say no but it doesn't say. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/196974-multiple-initiative-value-units/ Share on other sites
stinkenheim
i would use highest like you do for the sweeping advance rolls, i would also only use base values and not improvements from rules like furious charge Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/196974-multiple-initiative-value-units/#findComment-2346922 Share on other sites
Ashe Darke
Sweeping Advance says use the majority or highest if there is no majority. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/196974-multiple-initiative-value-units/#findComment-2346961 Share on other sites

Frosty the Pyro
I can find no indication for what to do for your hit and run situation, however by fluff you would use the lowest (you're not leaving behind those who fail are you?). By internal consistancy you would use the majority value, or highest if there is no mojority, which is the rought I would go.
