Lets say we have a assault squad that removes their jump packs and buys a dedicated transport, can the transport use descent of angels? I think they can since the assault squad has the special and that they are the only thing in the codex that has it base. Every other thing in the codex has to buy a jump pack to get the special rule. Seahawk Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 No it wouldn't be able to use Descent of Angels, in the same way that Stormtroopers deepstriking in a Valkyrie cannot use Airborne Assault to reroll the scatter die. anything with a jump pack has the rule.That wasn't the question? Lastly, it says in Descent of Angels: Other units in the Blood Angels army that can arrive by Deep Strike do so using the normal rules. This clearly rules out any combos.
