Brother-Captain Lucius Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 So it was my Bday 5 days ago and decided to start Blood Angels. What i bought on saturday to start off the army was: Sanguinary Guard, 2xAssault Squads, Death Company and a Baal Predator. Everything is built up but isnt painted. I have 1 test mini done for the red. Baal Predator has been built with the flamestorm cannon and heavy flamers on it. I noticed a design flaw with the flamestorm cannon while i was making it in that the barrel is too short to go over the front of the Pred and some of the template is clipping the tank. Friendly gamers should leave you off with this but u may be penalised by ther players in tournaments even though it is Games-Workshops design flaw. Assault squad 1 WILL have ten men with Thunder Hammer and 2x Meltas and Assault squad 2 WILL also have ten men, has Power Fist, Melta Pistol and 2xFlamers Only 5 in each At the moment. Sanguinary Guard have Power Fist, Banner, axes and swords, Jump Packs(obviously) Death Company have Power Fist, Hand Flamer and Bolt Pistols and Chainswords and also Jump Packs. Have also built up a Librarian with Force Axe and Jump pack. This is also my first time Painting the majority of Marines bright Red so might not turn out as good as you might think. That will be the reason it doesn't go past the hull of the tank. Good ideas for the army. If i were you i'd put in tactical squads in land raiders, so cool!!! Nope template off the barrel its the same gun as a redeemer sponsoon but I can see this being one of the questions in the FAQ I have no problem with it firing forward since if you any idea how a flamethrower works it fires a firery cone which misses the hull completly but people at torneys will try Dq ya over it since thats how torneys work ^_^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd only say that you should move the hunter-killer on the Baal, having it where it is now means the turret can't move.
