Legacy
my easey peasey faces goe elf flesh and badab black wash for the gritty face look. like they been in the dirt watiing for prey. eyes are hard for me but any color that normal humans would have is good. Normally i choose bad moon yellow for the wolvey eyes. CainTheHunter
Elf flesh over Tallarn Flesh foundation, then wash with Ogryn flesh, then highlight noe, cheeks etc with Elf flesh, if necessary then some final careful wash into deeper areas with Ogryn flesh. Looks like this Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/197177-which-colour-do-you-use/#findComment-2349370 Share on other sites
Night Runner
I definitely agree with the brothers who use Tallarn Foundation paint. It's one of the best I've ever used. I don't like washes but I like to highlight with Vallejo's Light Flesh and downlight with burnt amber and black brown also from Vallejo. TopToffee
you can get surprisingly decent results by spraying the head white, and simply doing two (or possibly three) washes of Ogryn Flesh straight over it... GI Joker
Dwarf Flesh, washed with flesh wash (no longer made, maybe Ogryn Flesh would work?) Then back over with the Dwarf Flesh on the rased areas and a final go with Elf Flesh on the top most areas. molsonbeagle
I'm going to have to agree with the talllern flesh and the badab black (or devlan mud) I've been extremely happy with the results and would 100% suggest it for a skin tone. my hair on the other hand...its wild!! most people wouldn't agree with it ;) my wolves may all be irish..i'm not sure... Spacefrisian
I start with Chaos Black, than bestial brown, than a mix of Bestialbrown/ Dwarfflesh followed by heavy drybrushing of Dwarfflesh. For Characters i paint on eyes for my troops i simple dot the face with some Badab black or devlan mud wash.
