jester262 Posted April 6, 2010 Share Posted April 6, 2010 very nice looking yellow. Very clean. My question is does the second company have yellow trim on their shoulder guards? If so then never mind. But if it's not specified I think if you paint them black it will help break up the colors and make it look alot better. Phal Brannon Posted April 6, 2010 Author Share Posted April 6, 2010 jester262, Cheers for the comment, As the Imperial fists are fairly strict adherents to the codex it means being 2nd company their sholder trim should be yellow or gold, I prefer the yellow over gold but I understand what you mean they could possibly benefit from something to break the yellow up a bit. Phal Brannon Posted April 6, 2010 Author Share Posted April 6, 2010 Cheers guys, dusktiger, I used good old Iyanden darksun as the base, I tried a few test marines adding golden yellow but did'nt really like the end result so stuck with darksun as the tone is less bright.
