hey so I have a chaos marine army going, and I have the name narrowed down to warp hawks or shadow hawks, which do you prefer?

yes I know this is a common excuse, but the pictures do make the highlighting look bad...I use snot green mixed progressively into the base color (hawk turquoise) and then straight snot green, it looks a lot better in person but I'm forced to use the flash on my camera and it makes this color look particularly odd

If it's only the pictures, it's fine.

But from personal experience, I'd presume that it's also visible IRL, less so than on the pics but still. You could mix white into your second-to-last mix instead of going with pure Snot Green for the final highlight. That should keep the highlight within the right spectrum of colour, making it look a bit more natural.

Other than that minor nitpick, really cool scheme and you're pulling it off well!

Based on your avatar, I thought this might be an alternative color scheme for the Alpha Legion. That would be a fine name for your marines! ;)

But seriously, I think Warp Hawks is a great name and much better than Shadow Hawks.

Fantastic job on painting these! I look forward to seeing more.
