Mantinel
You don't need to put bases under Attack bikes, but if you really want to, go with dreadnought 60mm base. Uncooked
Hello! I Used the fantasy cavalry bases they came with, chopped a 25mm round base and glued them into the short ends and then filled them in with green stuff, wait for that to dry and then filed them down, sprayed and based them. Whole process takes a little bit of time but it looks much better then sticking them on those massive bases in my opinion. Max_Dammit
He's talking about attack bikes :D No base in box, no base needed. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/197330-swiftclaw-attack-bike/#findComment-2351068 Share on other sites
Uncooked
d'oh :( I have just left mine without a base in that case! I don't think round bases look good on bikes :P Theres a lot of dead space in front of the side carriage if you do that and more opportunity for you to get charged Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/197330-swiftclaw-attack-bike/#findComment-2351074 Share on other sites
Kjarl Bluetooth
You don't need to put bases under Attack bikes, but if you really want to, go with dreadnought 60mm base. I use a 60mm base for mine - I know you don't need to but I prefer it because it puts the model on the same level as the rest of the bikes. Maybe one day GW will develop an appropriately shaped base like they did for the bikes - for those of us who'd like to use them! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/197330-swiftclaw-attack-bike/#findComment-2351123 Share on other sites

Barn
Here is a pic of my WiP 'attack bike'. I used a standard bike base for the bike, then a round Terminator sized base for the sled. http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/1061/imgp0531z.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/197330-swiftclaw-attack-bike/#findComment-2352697 Share on other sites
Coverfire
Looks more like a sled than a side car... If it were Orks I'd be all for it. As Space Marines, I am not so sure. Put them on Snow bases and replace the wheels with the under carriage of the Ork Deffkopter and it would look awesome! Barn
it is a sled. If you look i also changed all my wheels to tank track ;) I wanted it to look like the second the bike stands still, the blood claw is going to leap off and rip off the head iof the nearest enemy.
