igotsmeakabob!!
Tactical squad Bethos is in assault against an unnamed assailant. Bolter-brothers take 10 saves, flamer brother takes 2 and a power weapon, brother-sergeant takes 2 saves. Bolters fail three saves, the flamer fails one plus the pw, and the sergeant fails both. Assuming combat is lost for the Marines, when tallying unsaved wounds for combat resolution, are ALL counted or only those required to kill the model? Does the flamer give up two unsaved wounds (failed & PW) or one? Does the sergeant give up two unsaved wounds or one? Ashe Darke
You can't lose more wounds than you have. If a guy fails many saves and only has one wound then he only gives one wound for combat resolution. It's to do with the total number of wounds lost. To expand on this, when it comes to multiple wounded models, if they die by instant death then it's the total number of wounds they lost, even if it was just a single hit that did it. igotsmeakabob!!
It's by wounds lost, not unsaved wounds? That makes it alot clearer, what page can I cite that to? Ashe Darke
Page 39. The wording is inconsistent. First it talks about all unsaved wounds and then actual wounds lost. Use actual wounds lost.
