valanus
Anyone else a little disappointed by the plot of the upcoming Nemesis HH novel? I was kind of hoping for a Night Lords story, hopefully leading up to the assassination of Kurze by the assassin M'shen. If not then maybe it's just me, sat here all alone with my problems and my broken f**king dreams.... :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/197579-nemesis/ Share on other sites
Ashe Darke
That came after the HH. A fair bit of coverage of the event is covered in Soul Hunter though. What bugs me about the book is that this is the first I've heard of this idea. All the other books have routes in Collected Visions yet this has seemingly come from nowhere. I think I'm just annoyed that it comes out before The First Heretic which I'd rather read. valanus
Oh yeah, you're right. Curses! That'll teach me to go about deluding myself without checking the facts first. I shall flagellate myself immediately as penance. I'm slightly more aggravated by the prospect of having to wait absolutely forever for Prospero Burns. But then if I had my way i'd have the BL staff chained up like a Roman galley and whipped until they produced the entire HH series right bloody now thank you very much! I'm very much an instant gratification kind of guy. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/197579-nemesis/#findComment-2353464 Share on other sites
Rune Priest Ridcully
I'm very much an instant gratification kind of guy. Praise Slaanesh much? Back on topic, What is the plot of Nemesis, I had heard it was about 2 opposing assasins one after Horus, the other after the Emperor, if so, hopefully it will explain the founding of the Temples. valanus
That would be nice, a bit more info on the various temples would be great. Can't help but think a Heresy era Calidus or Eversor would be harder than a concrete milkshake. Here's hoping. Wonder who/what the enemy assassin mentioned would be? chriscrowing
I for one can't wait for the series that deals with the Siege of Terra. Ooft, that'll be good. Nemesis sounds interesting, but it sounds like more background - I'd rather have all the major players in motion before we start adding colour with previously unheralded tales about the founding of the Assasins temples. As a side thought, what the hell does Eldrad Ulthran do after his run in with Fulgrim - run away? talos402000
Actually, I'm looking forward to seeing normal humans hate Horus and make plans to kill him. I'm tired of all normal humans being very shy of marines and reticient to becoming involved Even the ones from the first three books just ran away at the end (we must run away and tell the Marines! Ugh). So far, the only one whose done so is Singh, the warmason from Lightning Tower, who called Horus the Usurper, and who tells Rogal Dorn they better do something or Horus is going to kill them all. Ethrion
I'm just psyched that it's going to be a HH novel with the focus on assassins and not so much about the Astartes. I doubt that there will be any fluff revelations like in Mechanicum but it should be good nonetheless. A D-B
I reckon The First Heretic will go up to the start of the siege. Well I hope so anyway. The start of the Siege of Terra is a while away, yet. Ashe Darke
God damn you provocative cover art. Either way roll on November. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/197579-nemesis/#findComment-2355926 Share on other sites
MCCCXXXVII
I for one, am really pumped for it. The idea of assassins on both sides with opposing goals interests me and I hope they cross paths somehow.
