PlagueMaster 1988 Posted April 8, 2010 Share Posted April 8, 2010 They are pretty good, though I think certain areas could use highlighting. I think the red on the guns, the banding on the armour, and certain areas of the green armour need highlighting, just to pick up a bit of detail. Highlighting the banding with maybe pure chainmail or a 50/50 mix of boltgun metal and chainmail will help set them apart from the armour, because they seem to blend together and its hard to tell that they are separate. This may be the camera though. I'd maybe take the lightest brown colour you've used on the armour, mix a bit of rotting flesh to it, and drybrush the armour. This will really pick out the nasty Nurgly details. Other than that, the paint scheme works well for Nurgle marines, good job mate! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pattison Posted April 9, 2010 Share Posted April 9, 2010 I think they are gorgeous. Plague marines are often too green, but the colour balance seems perfect on these ones. nurglephill Posted April 10, 2010 Share Posted April 10, 2010 Superb! The only thing i would change is painting the plasma gun red and red. Keep the body red to match the bolters etc but the energy sourse should be green or blue i think...either way it should be bright too.
