Oh wow, White Panthers. I haven't seen these guys in forever. I always thought that it was a cool color scheme, my first Marines were very similar but green and tan instead of black and white. I remember the first time I saw them was in a pamphlet that came with the 2nd ed box that had a bunch of chapters laid out. They look good, especially for table top quality. Are you going to do anything with the basses? Are you using them as White Scars counts as or just going heavy on bikes?

well, im thinking of making them like a white scars counts as, yea. maybe even going so far as saying theyre a successor chapter since no one's mentioned any background fluff for them besides being very vindictive. which sounds like some of the BG fluff for the scars, what with hunting down anyone who fights them and lives to tell the tale.

 

i havent figured what i wanna do for the bases yet. anyone have any suggestions as to what might go well with these?

update: i've got a squad of tactical marines in a paint striping bath right now, and i've started work on 2nd squad's sergeant, and also a second ironclad dreadnought. took the AOBR dreadnought i hadnt been using and sanded it down and replaced some parts on it. and just so you know, the roughness on the top of the dread where its white isnt chunky thick paint; i used a dremel to sand off the thick paint that was on there before, and the primer i went over it made the results look rougher than it felt by hand.
