Sorry to bother again, but this is just so well done... What colors did you use/ what was your process like? I really like this white/ brown scheme

@ Bryce

Airbrushed base coats in order: VMC black/ brown, GW bleached bone (some vmc black brown) and finally some skull white. These were done in layers in top down spray but 5-6 layers can be done in 10 minutes with an airbrush and it takes no time to dry between coats. Hence the smooth finish. I have base coated over 40 miniatures at a time ready for brush work and detail. The tank took less that an hour and now it only requires brush work.

@ Wolf Lord Mjolnir

I couldnt agree more.....

On a side note I have over 70+ sisters sitting around at moment waiting to be painted as well.

It has been a while since I have posted my wip but I have been rather busy mainly assembling miniatures. Over half the army is now painted and now I just have to finish 10 Imperial stormtroopers (karskins), Inquisitor +very small retinue and 3 tanks. The only problem is that I have a little over a month to do this. I spent a few hours yesterday getting down the base coat on these miniatures using an air brush. Hopefully now it wont take too long to paint. The karskin at the bottom is the colour scheme I have decided to use but the miniature is still not finished.

Latest: Inquisitor .....now either back to karskins or maybe a tank....running out of time.

@ Obliterator

I must get around to that sometime. If I do I will certainly post a link on youtube or something similar.

Thanks for the high praise guys but now I have less than a month to get the rest of the army ready in time for the local touranment. :P

I have finally finished and played at the Tassie state championships. This is what I put together for display. It finished second in players choice and won best painted army. I had a blast of a weekend playing five games over two days. With 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss, overall it was a great weekend. It was just fun to catch up with mates. The board, cargo containers and the barriers I painted over one insane weekend….

hey,

so for your painting technique from what you have described it is as follows?

1: basecoat

2: wash

3: then highlight armour? or do u leave as is after the wash?

4: and then the metalics, weathering and bases?

could you just clarify for me please?

really interested in the process of painting the grey knights and the vehicles? would it be to much to ask for you to post a mini tutorial on how you do it?
