This tank bears the heraldry of Brother Darius, a former hero of this squad (now serving as a Dreadnought)

The devotional text on these vehicles is comprised of excerpts from the six hundres and sixty-six Secret Words, as printed in the Codex. I wrote them with a brush in small, intentionally bad handwriting, even stacking some letters on top of each other. I did this partially because I like the look, partially because I didn't want either my handwriting or the meaning of the actual words to get in the way of the visual effect, and partially to hide their meaning from the heretics who these vehicles will be crushing!

I love the lettering on the Landraider, wish I could do that. Overall your painting is very neat in the right spots, but alot of the colors look VERY flat, its most noticeable on Stern. Doesn't seem like there is much depth to the model overall except the silver bits and if you used metallic paints they tend to self highlight.

 

Overall though, very good.

I agree with the flatness - it is not that much of a problem though, they still look great.

 

I'm most impressed by the land raiders, they're awesome. I don't think the gold plate up front fits, though.

Look very good. You may want to fill in some of the basing as the slotta hole is appearing in some of them. Look forward to seeing more

Nice work.

 

However, use some washes to add depth. Badab black on armour and ogryn (?) wash on skin. Griffon sepia or Devlan mud on parchment will also be good.

I like the Land Raiders. A lot. Though it might just be the lighting, but your brass-etch stuff looks untouched.
