Blood Angels HH book

I think if you're wanting some Blood Angels action you may have to wait until they get around to dealing with the siege of the emperor's palace and the battle for terra. Will probably be a long wait but will be well worth it especially if it deals with sanguinius and the ultimate gate.

The Blood Angels are sure to be getting a nice, big, long book, and I guess they're gonna let either McNeill or Counter do it, since it's quite a spectacular part of the Horus Heresy: the Purge of Signus.

Fluff says that Horus attempted to rid himself of the Blood Angels by sending them to the Signus Cluster to quell a "rebellion". When they got there the planets had turned into daemon worlds, and the Blood Angels had one hell of a fight, with Sanguinius himself facing a mighty Bloodthirster of Khorne and almost perishing.

Horus was probably hoping that the Blood Angels would be destroyed or tempted by Khorne.

At least that's what the Horus Heresy: Collected Visions say.

It's far too good a piece of the Heresy to simply forget about. Chronologically, it should be the Blood Angels' turn next. Perhaps after Prospero Burns?

In any case, there are still a few parts of the Heresy which definitely need covering:

- The Battle for Ultramar (War on Calth between Smurfs and Word Bearers)

- The Purge of Signus

- The Battle for Tallarn (Iron Warriors and probably Imperial Army engaged in the most massive tank battle in history)

- The Tsagualsa Campaign (Well, the Night Lords have GOT to feature at some stage, if only to murder a load of civilians)

- The Siege of Terra

I also expect Black Library to be doing books on:

- The Plight of the Death Guard (when they go all slimy)

- The War within the Eldar Webway

- The Plight of the Death Guard (when they go all slimy)

I don't think you would need a book for that, maybe a short story. Didn't the end of Flight already lead into it anyways. I remember something about Typhus saying he could navigate a ship or some such.

"An ye, there was Drinkething the Blood, and alas, Madness and Mutation devoureth the Legion. Sanguinis the Angel decendeth upon the Sacreth Soil of Terra, but there were Blood, an ye, he was thirsty, so Drinketh his Share, before retreating to his Father's side, where he got Muggeth by the Lupercal. The end."
