templarboy
WYSIWYG is important to me. How do I model personal icons? What the heck are they supposed to be anyway? I find the CSM Codex is full of stuff that is hard to define. *cringes waiting for Brother Nihm to show me 500 searchy links* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/198008-modeling-personal-icons/ Share on other sites
Brother Nihm
There is a million and one ways to make a Personal Icon. I have seen anything from Greenstuff symbols, giant banners, to having pieces on the model - like a glove - count as a Personal Icon. Maybe you can find some inspiration here (you will have to make do with but a few Searchy Links ): http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...t&p=1497088 http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...p;#entry1443728 http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...t&p=2235316 (left guy with his back turned) http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...t&p=2224283 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/198008-modeling-personal-icons/#findComment-2358551 Share on other sites
Jeffy.Gee
The little skull in the chaos star makes an excellant personal icon. Drill a 2mm hole in the top of your hqs backpack and glue it in. The awesome thing is if you decide not to use a personal icon in a game it can be there for purely decorative purposes. I mean this bit by the way. http://www.bitzbox.co.uk/images/chaos_spac..._2007_large.jpg JG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/198008-modeling-personal-icons/#findComment-2358562 Share on other sites
