Wolf Lord Loki
With the mad rush of the new codex over and after all the hunts for Fenrisian or Thunder Wolves have died back, has anyone found good Cyber Wolves for the Iron Priests? I've thought about the mastif from the Inquisitor and Necromunder games but they aren't really wolfy, just robot dogs. Anyone got better suggestions for shop bought? or do you just make them yourself? Bloodmange
I actually like the look of the Vampire Counts Dire Wolves for Cyberwolves. Given a bit of Green Stuff work and the right paintjob they really do the job well. I'll post pics of mine once I'm finished with them. littlbitz
This Inquisitor scale "Cyber doggie" may work. Cyber Mastiff You could probably mount it on a standard Cavalry base and be fine. Or, if you think its too large, you could go with this one. Arbites doggie Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/198087-cyber-wolves/#findComment-2359377 Share on other sites
40k Junkie
I just use the same wolves from goblins box. But I paint them base black then boltgun metal with a very light mithril silver dry brush then several layers of black wash. The others are in natural tones. There is a pretty big contrast, enough so there is no question. Warhorse47
I used the goblin wolves, glued some bitz on them and they looked pretty good with my Iron Priest on Twolf. Fanon03
I've been using Fenris Wolf model from Hero Clix to make my Thunder Wolf Calvary. With some GS to make wires and the such they would be perfect. If anyone wants pics let me know and I'll see what I can do. JCarter
I used the goblin wolves, cut out parts to look like some of the skin was missing (front or rear haunches worked best) and cut up some skeleton horses from Ffantasy WH. Then I patched in some bones and skeletal parts showing in the gaps and used bolt gun metal to look like a metallic skeleton revealed beneath the missing skin. This worked well. Wolf Lord Loki
The juggernaught of khorne from the deamon range, after trimming the horn and the chaos decoration.http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod1170209 That would be a little on the large side for a cyber wolf wouldn't it? I've just gotten a juggernaught to act as a Thunderwolf for my Iron Priest! :) Anyone got any photo's of their work on cyber wolves?
