Relictors Reborn

Hi all,

I have decided to join up and post pictures of my Relictor marines as they get ripped apart and restarted.

My starting point is to be my ten man assault squad but i have been doing other things as the catch my eye so here are a few for you...

My marines after birth by superglue

They are a mixture of Black templar parts, standard assault marines and the legs of Khorn Marines as they lend a bit more movement

That Apothecary is amazing, mind if I borrow the idea? It looks so simple to do but the results really speak for themselves. Well done!

Feel free to borrow Reyner, i like it for the bulky look he has. The body is the Black reach captains body with a bit of trimming so as to fit the command squad sprues Apothecary body in, then on the back is the Fabius Bile back pack. you need a little filling here and there to match it all up but its a simple conversion.

Here is todays project, my captain, as it will be i think except for the gun arm which needs some thinkig about and removing all the blood angels symbols!

Always nice to see another Relictors player!

You've combined the Chaos parts really well; wicked poses! Nice colours also, I contemplated incorporating red, but ultimately couldn't be bothered. Oh, and your captain puts mine to shame.

Good work

Hi JK,

yes were a rare pale skinned breed stealing the best from chaos and space marines alike! This is my second time around with these guys, and the drab grey needs a lift and the red seemed the simplest best contrast.

As for your captain I find it the command sprue legs with the cape just make them look like midgets which makes it hard to get that commanding presence.

That's why khorne trrops and the new blood angels are great for there affect of adding action to a piece.

I was wondering if the BA winged shoulder pads block the back pack (or JP) from resting properly against the back piece. It's good to see these shoulders on a non-Sanguinary Guard model as it confirmed the mod I want to do for my DIY Honor Guard. ;)

Good show here!

Great job thus far using Blood Angles bits for a different chapter. For the Chaplains Crozius I would recommend using the 2 headed Sanguinary guard axe and cutting the axe blades leaving just the wings.

Thanks didn't spot it before, its perfect so perfect I cut it out and trimmed it last night. Was a tough one and nearly drove me loopy! Will post pics tonight hopfully.
