Flexilex
Hello Brothers, I've posted this in the WIP subforum but I thought to share it here as well. I'm building my own stormraven using the tutorial from patzgcruz found here The most important change was keeping the sliding doors sliding. Other minor changes are the different placement of the engines and less use of plasticard The front The side with open sliding door Detail of the engines before the cover went on And a detail of the inside All and any comment is welcome -Flexilex
SevenExxes
Nice. I want one.
Vel'Cona
Looks pretty awesome. I love the interior and the wing design, it's probably one of the crisper and cleaner looking Storm Ravens I've seen. Have any pics of where the Dread goes? Just curious about how this design deals with the "transport clamp" placing. Also, I'm not sure if it's the flash on your camera being unforgiving, but these pics make your SR look orange. If that's intentional, my apologies. Could be your paint scheme, after all! ;)

Flexilex
Hello Brothers, It's a busy time at our little forum.... page 6 in 3 days..... Anyways, I took my Stormraven to my local gamestore to make some pictures with the proper lighting conditions. The weapons are placed now, but the grapple still needs to be attached and there's some plasticard filling todo in the rear wings. Front Side Front closeup, the lascannons are placed to the side so it looks more like the 'stormraven' pic in the SW codex Closeup side
skyst
Wow that looks so much better with the different lighting at the store. Well done!

Flexilex
Finished! Finally I came around to the final touches of my stormraven. Here it is in all it's glory. Unusually sharp Slightly less sharp front view Did I mention sliding doors? The attached dread And last but not least: a painted interior
Anarchyman99
I really think it's them best SRGS, I have see kit bashed. Simple but not too "busy", weapons placement than make sense.....still looks sleek to be an assault craft. Very Nice!
Fortunate Son
That's one beautiful model. Excellent work on the paintjob. Hopefully, mine will turn out looking half this good. (although I'm planning to use the Manticore missile rack on mine for the bloodstrikes)
Brother_Dan'l
I really like that version, except for the downward incidence of the wings and the lack of any forward lifting or even control surfaces. Makes it look rather unbalanced. Though I must say that the nicest looking model of that design I've yet to see. Most of them seem put together and painted by a one eyed chimpanzee. Are those the old 2ed metal Lascannons on the nose? They really look like they belong. Nice.
Flexilex
Thanks for all the comments I'm aware that the stormraven couldn't normally fly with such wings, but I like to think that with space marine engines, anything can fly :D The lascannons are metals from an old razorback.
