The original parts I made from styrene, combinations or styrene rod, strips and tubing. Once I had everything done I then made a mold and cast it in resin.

The ironcald dreadnought comes with a right combat arm. It's the only GW kit that does. FW also makes a right combat arm but it's dang exspensive IMO. In addition to the right arm the other selling point of the iron clad is the beefier armor, like the ironclad the Furioso has a armor 13 so it's a bit bigger and heavier than a normal dread. (you also have a bunch of extra bits left over that you can use on other models)

While I intended them to be used as a blood talon stand in they can be used a pretty much any dreadnought or even look at home with ork stuff.

I'll be doing some additional BA themed bits to go along with the claws, I want to rework the armor panels on the legs and shoulders, any work I do I'll also make casts available. I'll probably piece together a grapple once I figure out what I want it to look like.

Let us know when you have new stuff up!

I think the claws in the codex are actually the claws from the old space wolf character dreadnought. I can't say for certain as I don't have one and it's no longer listed on the GW site. Could also be a preview of a future plastic kit, as GW does ocassionaly put sneak peeks in their stuff, but much more likely it's just an exsisting bit.

edit: found a pic, pretty sure the codes hands are from the SW kit.

I'll definately be posting any new parts I come up with, just finished casting claw parts for a second dread and I'll be working on armor panles later tonight. Will post pics when I have some progress.

No, it's already been confirmed that the claws aren't from Bjorn.

I'm looking forward to new stuff from you, though :P

So I'm really considering buying a pair. What do you have to do exactly to attach those badboys? I'm considering sticking them on either an old metal furioso(god I hate that metal piece of crap, I don't think its ever killed anything and I melted the base in the sun.) or a plastic standard dreadnought. If I go the plastic route I'll have to buy an Ironclad anyways just to get the stupid arm. >.<
