True-scale Chapter Master

Mr.Millar

Recommended Posts

Here is my first ever attempt at true-scale. I'm quite pleased with it for a first go but there are some flaws here and there. I'm going to be using him as the master of the 4th company of the Iron Vanguard which will be the reserves, or will be if i can get 100 marines on the cheap. I imagine he'd look quite menacing at the front of 100 men.

He's kitted out with a relic blade and a storm bolter (the ccw and pistol are to annoy WYSIWYG players, hehe :( ) C&C welcome.

The flash seems to have reflected off the metallic paint somewhat, making the model seem much brighter and a little too grimy compared to what it does look like on the table :D .

i'd be inclined to say theres two flaws - Nothing major tho. Firstly, theres drilling out the barrels on the storm bolter, just makes it look a bit nicer in my opinion.

Secondly, I'd spin the sword blade 90 degrees. From what i've learnt about using swords....(mainly from the non converted 40k models with ccw's tbh) the sword blade tends to be in line with the thumb - just makes it easier to swing thats all. Alternatively, if its not a converted arm...i stand corrected.

Otherwise, it looks great. Especially like the metallics.
