bevulf
Hi guys, after painting a host of dark angels marines I've decided to break for a while and start a new project - this time in RED :) below are my attempts on the Terminators. First some torsos and weapons: http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x240/bevulf/DSCF4897.jpg?t=1271463971 group shot (still not glued): http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x240/bevulf/DSCF4898.jpg?t=1271463970 As you can see I mixed parts form Space Hulk Termies (3 brother termies were cut up) with normal plastic termies and forgeworld parts. I know that many of you may ask "why termies?" and why normal ones? they're useless and there are more better units to choose from..." Well, This is because i prefer fluff more than game rules and specific roles on the battlefield - i am more a painter than a gamer ;)) I will try to get to painting this evening so expect more pictures soon. Cheers,
Lord Kharloth
I can honestly say im very impressed, I never would of thought of mixing the two together, and never thought it would look so uniform.
bevulf
A quick update - i almost finished armour - still some more shading and highlights: http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x240/bevulf/DSCF490211.jpg?t=1271618217

Eberious
Looking very cool, I couldn't chop up space hulk termies so congrats on doing so and makeing them really work. They will look awesome when done. Very nice red BTW.
bevulf
thanks, I hope to finish the armour tomorrow  Armour by far is done by mixing dark flesh with blood red and blazing orange highlights. I need to add some more vomit brown highlights and blood red washes.
Brother Captain Kezef
I have a huge problem with termies, they look so boring! Look at the detail work on vanguard and sternguard PA marines and compare it to the Termies. So i find this project thrilling, makes Termies look as good as their PA vet cousins. Well done! I love the look.
skyst
These should be cool... Finish them today, please?
bevulf
These should be cool... Finish them today, please? I wish I could but I suppose I would be able to finish only their armour. I think I finish them by the end of the week but time will tell :D
Whitefireinferno
OMG... You cut up Space Hulk Termies!!??!? I have to say they do look good but I am still in disbeleif that somebody would do this.

bevulf
It took me more time than I expected but I've finally finished my Terminators: http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x240/bevulf/BloodAngelsTermies.jpg?t=1272216665 Hope you like them. I think I get my hands on the tactical marines next but as I am rather a slow painter I do not think that I'll be able to paint them in less than a month but we will see. Brother_Kaelgrim
Hate to be a bother but could you upload one picture to your B&C gallery then link it in? I'm reading this from work and would love to see your painting but I can only see images hosted by B&C while at work it seems. If not its fine, I'll check it when I get home but I don't wanna forget about it in the next 14 hours or so.

Terrahawk
Those Termies look real nice. Obviously cutting up the SH models wasn't a mistake in this case. :) I also collect both the Dark and Blood Angels, so yeah, Angels of Death is where it's at! ancient god
Great work, both on the termies (esp. the conversions) and Mephiston. Hope you get the assualt squad done soon! :D
SnorriSnorrison
Absolutely stunning work, bevulf. Your paintjob on Mephiston even outshines your termies, which are also top-notch! ;) I am looking forward to see more of your stuff in these hallowed halls! ;) Snorri
Escaflowne_Z
Wow, those terminators look like they just stepped off the 'eavy Metal worktables. Very impressive!
bevulf
thanks guys for your comments - i also took a slightly different picture (top view) of my termies: I have also used green stuff to cover all the "x" marks on some of the Death Company parts to incorporate them in my assault squad: http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x240/bevulf/DSCF4974.jpg?t=1273435386 some of the marks may still be visible but I will correct them later.
