Piousservant
I'm attempting to model a Heresy-era Azkaellon, based on the Sanguinor model. I've managed to cut the legs about to change the pose but I'm not that happy with the way it looks at the moment, would appreciate any thoughts/advice on what to do! http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y130/HaorChall/DSC00011.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y130/HaorChall/DSC00012.jpg Probably a better pic of the changes to his legs: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y130/HaorChall/DSC00007.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/198773-azkaellon-herald-of-sanguinius/ Share on other sites
pingo
I think one problem might be that the head looks really, really big. Which isn't exactly your fault of course! I also think the right sword arm needs to be repositioned to make the pose more open. It's a bit of an unnatural angle at the moment. I like the idea of making him look to be running rather than floating. I guess I could put one of the Deathmask heads on instead which would probably look better size-wise but I had wanted an unhelmeted head. I think the size of the sword doesn't help, I spend ages trying to work out how to pose the arms. What sort of angle do you would look better do you think? Thanks for the comments! ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/198773-azkaellon-herald-of-sanguinius/#findComment-2368622 Share on other sites
jimbo1701
One of the metal head from the masters of the chapter set (which are slimmer than normal plastic SM heads) and some GS hair would be the solution to the melon-head I suspect. Either that or the head from GD 2008 captain would be ideal. Great idea though - I never quite liked the static 'here shoot me' pose.
