Belakor and base size

I love the belakor model and am currently modelling one for use in 40k with my chaos:fallen angels army, and for my 40k deamons army. Anyways, should I put the Belakor model on a 40mm terminator base or on a 60mm dreadnought base? He fits on both, but the 40mm almost looks a bit small for him and the 60mm base dwarfs belakor! anyone have any ideas?

Well, he is going to be used as a demon prince from either the chaos codex or the deamons codex (which are both MC's). I never heard that base size matters for a MC before! The pewter 40k demon prince is a MC and comes with a 40mm terminator base right? Is that not tourney legal then even out of the box? I'll probably put him on the 60m dread base if that's the case.
Standard DP is on a 40mm, Nurgle one is on a 60mm. Personally I used the 60mm because it avoids issues with flailing appendages making it difficult to put models in base-to-base for combat. I threw the odd skull/lasgun etc onto the base to decorate it a bit, and I'll put some static grass on as well once it's finished. That makes the base decorative enough not to dwarf him so much IMO.
