Hi all. Having posted a few of my things in the BA forum I decided it was time I got myself a proper project log going. Having been a BA devout for a long time, I was thrilled when the new codex and minis were announced. Never being one to miss out on an opportunity, I decided this was the perfect time for some nice BA conversions. Many of them were made using the new BA kits or were kitbashed from existing BA stuff. Great work brother on all of them I however must say I hope you plan on doing alot on the bases due to having fantastic mini's on bland Bases is just a letdown.

 

But yeah look forward to seeing these finished more ;)

BTW.. Where h**l are the chest plate on Sgt.1 squad from ??

@ WFI - I plan on using simple basing on them, just static grass really. Wanted a bright, meadow green to contrast with the reds. Termie priest 1 has it.

 

@ XT - the chest is the one from the new Baal pred and the only one of that type I believe.

For your Sanguinor model I would suggest mounting him to the base using curved wire attached to his back. The way it is now the post will block a lot of the forward facing detail of the model.

 

Given this approach, the weight will make it top heavy and the tricky balance. To compensate, it will require, adding some counter weight to the base. I’m sure that could be done with some interesting basing material or you could switch back to a regular black plastic base to give you some room beneath it to add some metal bits to hold it down.
