The thing with this project is that it got no time limit to get done in and I like to make it a good project The theme of my new chapter will be like this: BA, but more heraticus/Flagelants like, a bit of the Vatican. NO Death company cause you loose control of your self like you do when you join chaos so Black Rage = Chaos. They do Herakiri before they end up on the path to Black rage, lucky it comes in the old age of the marines in this chapter. There home world is a Gaia/Fram world with all the citys as Tempel citys, a very religios world. Emperor's Scourge Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 Codex says there were successor chapters not mentioned by name in the Codex itself. They obviously did this for DIY BA successors. The only Codex done so far that really didn't encourage DIY was C:SW since the only successor chapter ever crashed and burned shortly after its inception. cathar the great Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 I like the middle scheme best. The white shoulder pad adds some additional flavor to it. Also, two-colored helmets like the one in the third scheme are hard to do and might look too busy. Don't forget that most helmets have some additional cables and decoration that also needs to be painted. The longer legs on the dread look nice. Vredesbyrd Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 That Furioso looks ace, the use of the Ironclad fists make it look very technically developed and mean looking, something that Deathmask completes nicely. For the schemes I think my favourite is the third, its got some red in to tie it into the Primogenitor Chapter and some black to make it a bit grimmer and darker. And If I remember correctly you cannot cast GW's models, you have to make your own, then you can cast all you want. Love the dread, the height is nice with the longer legs.
