Do you WAAAAAAAAAAGH!(?)

Recommended Posts

I thought this thread might prove interesting... Lessons on howling? I'd be better served going for bagpipe lessons like I had planned; then life happened.

I dunno... For me it just goes out naturally... But actually I was able to emulate convincing Tarzan cry when I was aged 15.

As to the bagpipes - don't put aside them! Funny, but I'm also interested in them and maybe they are just waiting for their chance to happen in my life :P

A good point, did you read the part of the codex where The Emperor and Russ are called on to witness the deeds of the fallen and judge them?

Can You give the exact page? I browsed through and the only apparent similarity was the bit of fluff at the bottom of p.21

Wolf Scouts, page 27, bottom right.

I howl whenever I blow something up or rout an enemy squad or do something similarly "bloody". Whenever I'm rolling saves, morale, etc. I mutter "Russ is with me" under my breath. Probably sounds corny to some, but it seems to work and that's fine with me.

Ahh, I also play a CCG named Legend of the Five Rings which is based loosely around feudal japan. They too do the customary start of tournament warcries to rouse the playerbase to a level of enthusiasm, by shouting "Banzai!"

I figure, instead of trying to remember two chants and remember which goes with what game, I just shout Banzai at any tournament. I usually get drowned out enough that only my immediate neighbors notice.

I might amend my chant at my next RTT to: "Russ! Banzai!" Because that sounds like a fun thing to howl at the top of my lungs.
