Toogeloo
With the new Blood Angels and Tyranids, is it safe to say that most all Ordos armies should include at the very least an Inquisitor with a Psychic hood, and if we are grabbing one of those, at least a couple of Mystics? Or even more competitive, use one of our HQ slots to be an Inqielord with 2 mystics and some other ablative wound model? I run pure Sisters mostly, though I have been keen to taking an Inducted Vet Squad in a Chimera with a Lascannon for the potential home objective camper. I haven't played in a few months however, and I am starting to see alot of these new codexes for the first time. It seems to me an inquisitor in the army with a table wide psychic hood is going to become much more common place. Since I play sisters, would anyone be able to tell me off hand (since I don't have my codex readily available since I'm on a business trip), is it possible to field a Core Sisters of Battle Army, with a Dameonhunter Inqielord, 2 Mystics, and whatever else 3rd model, and still take Inducted Guard? For some reason I think to myself the answer is no, but I just wanted to make sure. Inquisitor Fox
Actually the answer is yes you can :P You must use the Inducted Guard as selections from the parent Witch Hunters list, however you may then take Daemonhunter allies to your Witch Hunters army. The Inducted Guard are considered selections from the Witch Hunters force org, as per the rules on page 26, and then the Daemonhunter forces are allies to a Witch Hunters/Sisters of Battle Army as per page 21 in the Daemon Hunters codex. For pure psychic protection though, the Witch Hunters Inquisitors are superior IMO... though they don't have the innate deep striker protection that the Daemon Hunter Inquisitors do. Advice in terms of retinue of course, I have to point out the thread I started where they were discussed a bit in length: Inquisitor Tactica: advice on effective Inquisitors Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/199073-so-to-be-competitive-now/#findComment-2371296 Share on other sites
