Kurgan the Lurker
I like the Apoth-scout conversion (though it still seems to me the Command squad would be in regular Power Armor). greatcrusade08
I like the Apoth-scout conversion (though it still seems to me the Command squad would be in regular Power Armor). This could well be the case.. especially as the captain goes in PA.. but i like being different :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/199108-10th-co-wip/#findComment-2371779 Share on other sites

CaptinLoken
I been working on a ten company as well. Have an event coming up and I been gluing my models down as well. I noticed something amusing... It is that that the Sargent carry the bolt pistol and power-weapons in the opposite hands. I have a few Vets in my squads and when I place them down next to the sqaud they stand out nicely. I remember reading that you had bikes as well.... working on them in the back? When we going to see those if you are.... The army looks definitely unique and the squads them self stand out nicely done. Wish I could see it on the field in a game ...would look epic. sgtNACHO
In my opinion the heads on your command squad are too large. Especially the apothecary in that pic. Huge head! Pendrecki
Wow man! Fantastic. Great conversions. Do you ever have issues with using the comand squad? I only ask because I use 2 of my HQ characters in scout armor as well, using the regular statlines and calling the armor advanced carapace... here's a link to the minis. I'm inspired again... great work... love the storm too! advanced carapace thread... captain sox
Hey there GC08, GREAT looking Scouts. Have you tried to convet the LSS scouts into models outside of the Storm? I'm going to model the pilot in the Storm, but I think there is potential for some cool conversion ideas with the others... I only ask because I use 2 of my HQ characters in scout armor as well, using the regular statlines and calling the armor advanced carapace... here's a link to the minis. No-one has expressed any issues with them.. i built them with PA bodies as a bridge between the theme and actual rules, so if anyone does say anything i can simply show them that they have got PA on. As far as WYSIWYG goes, PA is PA OMG, what is that captain from, the sculpt is fantastic? Also what conversions did you do to it? It was a kitbash/scratchbuild, made by the boards brother Tual, the mini is amazing! Have you tried to convert the LSS scouts into models outside of the Storm? Nope although i convert the LSS scouts to match the unit that occupies it, so one has a fist and ccw whilst the other has shotguns.. i prefer not to mess around with the acual LSS scouts, they are smaller and the poses are too awkward to make work as both passengers and stand alone scouts Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/199108-10th-co-wip/#findComment-2376780 Share on other sites
