I swear to you that I will paint and present 1 squad of Nurgle Chosen and 1 squad of Nurgle Terminators (and potentially more, time and inspiration permitting) of the Death Guard Legion before July 30, 2010.

 

I also promise to provide a project update, at least twice per month.

For the purpose of the Call the Rhino is a separate choice! As you already have the maximum five items pledged it is unfortunately barred from this project. But how better to round off the Call than painting up a Rhino after we're done? :)

Finial the recently fallen Space Marine. For those who have check out my project log, I will be included recently fallen Space Marines, as well as tainted by the Warp Bezerker.

Idea basicly they enjoy close combat to much, found there way to khorne. I alway belive a Bezerker armour is red due to the blood they spill in the name of Khorne. So for this model when it come to painting, I will still have sign to his orignaly chapter, but he will slowy be turning red as the blood over take his armour.

I think I might make him into a Raven Guard in honour of the Honsou/Uriel novels.

While with the warp tainted once, I'll be aim to use a fair bit of the Chaos possessed models.

 

So now need another five models to finish off this unit as well as to get the base all finish. Aim to get some painting done this Mon.

the right arm, gun and head are only held on with blutac and im going to sculpt a robe which will hang over the front so will cover the point where the guitar strings attach also i still need to add some gs to the joint between the bionic arm and the gun.

i dont have any pictures yet of the rest because for my praetorians i need to buy some minotaurs and for the drop troops i need to buy some skaven although i have some wings to mount on them but i thought a shot of the wings might be a bit boring photo so you will have to wait for them(im busy next week so wont be able to go shopping until the 9th/10th)

A bit disingenuous, as I've had these primed since January, but here's a pic that shows what I'll be painting for my CoC vow:

On the left is Charkaradon, who will be in the same Brass colours as the rest of my Legion of Taurus, albeit with a fur-cloak that is lined with red.

 

The Thousand Sons count as 'Brotherhood of All-sight' will have Grey armour with blue robes. I need to do a test mini to see how if my idea for doing them will work, but I need to spray something up first.

May - Update 1 (02/05/2010)

My first update will be short and sweet. I have some of my models primed and ready, and some in the process of being cleaned up for priming. Here is a group shot of my pledge thus far:

My plan of action is to start with the 5 Daemons. I've been talking to some people in my local gaming store and I have chosen to go with a mix of foundation paints and washes for my Plaguebearers which are representing my lesser daemons. I'll have pics of these in my next update later in the month.

I will then move onto my Chaos Marine unit before finishing with my Terminators and Sorcerer Lord. These will be painted last as I can't settle on how I'm going to approach the colouration of the trim - Silver/Gold, all Gold or for a change as an elite unit use a Bone White trim. I also need to settle on making my sorcerer a devotee of Tzeentch, Slaanesh or Nurgle.

The Rhino's ready for paint, the other two need a bit more putty work. I ended up playing a game this weekend and didn't get quite as much painting done as I'd hoped, but at least I was victorious against Imperial Guard.
