Seeing as we Codex Marines not yet have any Honor Guard models (unless you play Ultramarines) I decided to convert the new Sanguinary Guard to Codex Space Marine honor guard. Sanguinary Guard work really well for the following reasons: 1. They have armour that can easily pass for artificer armour, which all honor guard have. 2. They have weapons that can represent Relic Blades, or if you want, power weapons. 3. They have boltguns on their forearms that can easily go for either Bolt pistols or boltguns. 4. They have a standard that can be used as the chapter banner. Codex Space Marines can't have jump packs so I had to use normal backpacks. This work well, although you can't angle the wings like you do when assembling Sanguinary Guard. Instead the wings goes almost straight out from the backpack. I also tried to remove most of the Blood Angel iconography (not the graal though, since that's part of the Artifactor iconography as well).
