I guess I'll give it another week or so.

nerve wracking. At least it's only 60 bucks...

as long as you used paypal or credit cards then you can claim it back for an unreceived item

its very easy with paypal i have had to resort to doing it maybe 3 times but i never had any problems

imo if these were taken down for IP then they may appear again under a new ebay account

I do use the PayPals for it is win.

Still, it's hassle I'd rather not have to undergo. I'm not certain as to why the Russian's auction was removed, it may be an IP crackdown, it may not be. The eBay transmission didn't include any information like that.

I'm not sure how I'd even start to go about it. The e-mail I received was a donotreply style auto messenger dealie, not a flesh and blood person, and in all likelihood, that information would be protected by user privacy regulations.

I could ask mrs-velard, if I had contact information and spoke Russian... :S

Anyone else receive a security advisory from eBay regarding the Russian wolf models listing being removed from eBay?

It's warning me to either rescind or prevent payment as the sale may be fraudulent... :D

More and more kicking myself over not buying the Phillipino models...

Interesting. I wonder what would have prompted that? Perhaps an IP infringement? One too many negative feed back? Also here's this...

For your information...he or she is still there with the account mentioned and still selling stuff...its too bad that you have so long shipping ways...we here in europe only take 1 week until the parcel is delivered from russia...i bought so much from them and never had a problem. just still keep watching the account. Never had any problems with fake or fraud account...

I've realised that I have hundreds (maybe thousands) of points of models semi and un-painted in my boxes. I'm going to be busy assembling and painting for quite a while. Plus, even the Philippines models are out of my price range at the moment. They're close to $75US including postage and that's over $105NZ. It must be said that is only about $21 per model though, so it is much cheaper than Canis (who I hate with a vengeance).

I just checked and the models are still available on e-Bay " Item number: 250630840988"

So it all seems good. I had no problem having the models sent to Australia, they arrived two weeks after the sale ended. One model did have a broken tail, but stuff happens.

The models are injection moulded resin, come in three parts, wolf, wolfs lower jaw and the legs for the rider. You need to buy the old round dreadnought bases for them or a similar type base as mrs-velard does not supply them with bases.

The feedback for that seller is still good (good enough for me to order another six models), if e-Bay had any problems with the sale it would have come from GW.

If GW see sales slipping or someone making a profit from something on e-Bay that looks slightly similar to what GW sells or describes in their literature, you can bet the GW legal team will be telling e-bay to stop hosting the item.

I have six of the Russian, "Space Thunder, Monstrous Riding Wolf of Wolves" and they are a good stand in for Thunderwolves, I have seen the Mr Dandy models and I think (personal opinion) that they are too large and too augmented by bionics. Some of the Mr Dandy models are larger than the GW Canis Wolfborn model and that is supposed to be a uniquely large Thunderwolf.

Now if only GW had written the rules to match the units storyline.
